Our Mission

Our mission is to foster second chances for individuals within homeless and low-income communities by equipping them with the essential skills and resources necessary to achieve sustainable success and well-being.

 

Flourishing Families, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to empowering individuals within our community by providing a comprehensive array of services and resources. These include shelter, career development, financial advising, counseling, childcare, and various additional support services aimed at fostering stability and growth.

 

Our Vision

 

• Provide Shelter
  Flourishing Families aims to establish a 24-hour shelter where food, clothing, and other essential resources are readily available to anyone in need.

• Provide Career Development Opportunities 
  Career development classes are offered to individuals and families within our program, empowering them with the skills needed to pursue and secure meaningful employment.

• Provide Financial Advising
  Financial education sessions are available to our program participants, covering topics such as financial stability, home ownership, debt management, and other pathways to economic security.

​

• Provide Counseling  
  Professional counseling services are available to individuals and families seeking emotional and psychological support.

• Provide Childcare
  Flourishing Families is committed to offering affordable childcare to employees, volunteers, and families within our program, ensuring accessible support for those in need.

 

Flourishing Families is not an emergency assistance organization.
